HISTORY 12 ASSIGNMENT: WWII
Choose your own timeline
Description: Using Powerpoint or a media presentation tool of your choice(I highly recommend trying Prezi) create a 25 slide presentation that chronologically represents the 25 most significant events of WWII according to your own research. You are allowed to reference any source you wish, however it is recommended that you rely primarily on the History 12 Student Workbook and Twentieth Century Viewpoints. Each slide must identify the event, describe it accurately and justify why it belongs on your list. The slide must also include image(s) pertinent to the event. Be sure to cite your sources for this project, each slide must list your sources. You should be using MLA style citations. You must also directly link your presentation to the projects sections of your Weebly.
You may choose to work in individually or as a partners for this project. However if you choose to work with a partner you must experiment with PREZI.
I strongly recommend that you create a share Google Doc for your work and your 25 points, so that you can collaboratively store information outside of Prezi in the case of network instability and so that you have a back-up.
Assessment:
Each slide – will be assessed 5 marks:
2 marks for information - must include sources
2 marks for justification
1 mark for appearance
